Job Description

  • Identify guest needs and expectation correctly, including those with special needs, and provide appropriate products, service and information.
  • Meet all reasonable needs and requests of guests within acceptable time frame.
  • Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service.
  • Recognize guest dissatisfaction promptly and take action to resolve the situation according to individual level of responsibilities and company policy and procedure.
  • Offer assistance to colleagues when required, to ensure designed work goal are met.
  • Build trust, support and respect towards colleagues in day to day work activities.
  • Conduct communication with customer and colleagues in a polite, professional and friendly manner.
  • Practice and maintain high standard of personal presentation according to company grooming and presentation standards.
  • Utilizing opening checklist and as instructed through briefing.
  • Provide a link between a link kitchen/bar and service areas, maintaining an open line of communication with production colleagues
  • Serve and clear food and drink within required timeframes.
  • Maintain the good knowledge of menu to answer question the guests may have.
  • Has working knowledge of the outlet room layout, table numbers, stations and colleague working during each shift.
  • Complete cleaning, opening and closing checklist when instructed by senior colleague
  • Generate maximum sales and profit by providing excellent value and service and utilizing suggestive and up selling techniques.
  • Report any possible theft or misuse of property immediately to the management.

Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year in five star hotel

Customer service, English Language

Preferably F&B service training

Minimum matriculation standard

Ability to work well with others

Ability to multi-task

Adaptable and has the right attitude

Ability to work under pressure

Good communication skills

Friendly and has the positive vibes
