To assist the lead teacher in preparing learning materials/aids to be used for classroom games and activities
To ensure the classroom is ready for lessons
To provide individual assistance to children who need additional one-on-one time to complete tasks
To build a warm, trusting relationship with students and parents
To maintain, observe and assess each student's progress throughout the learning period
To pay attention to the physical, social and emotional needs of the children as required
To ensure the safety of the students within the classroom, on field trips and throughout the campus
To communicate and coordinate with the lead teacher to create a positive learning environment
To supervise children during break time, pick-up and drop-off
To participate actively in regular team meetings and promotional events
Job Requirements
The Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work with our lead teachers, supporting them both inside and outside of the classroom.
He/ She will be responsible for assisting the lead teacher with teaching Nursery and Pre-KG students at EDU International School.
He/ She will ensure all of our youngest learners are provided a secure learning environment and interactions necessary to perform highly and achieve their full potential in all regards.
He/She must hold Bachelor’s degree in English or related field and Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Development or equivalent.
He/She is expected to have good level of English (IELTS 5.5/Intermediate and above)
