Description and Requirement

• Provide high-quality healthcare services to students and staff, ensuring a safe and healthy school environment.
• Assess, treat, and manage minor injuries and illnesses, referring more serious cases to medical professionals as needed.
• Promote health awareness and education to encourage healthy lifestyles among students and staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with school policies and medical regulations.
• Implement and monitor school health policies, including infection control, first aid, and medication administration.

Requirements

• A valid nursing qualification.
• Previous experience in paediatric or school nursing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of child development, common paediatric conditions and emergency medical care.
• Strong clinical skills, including the ability to assess and manage minor injuries and illnesses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents and staff.
• Strong organisational skills to manage medical records, supplies and school health programmes.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies.
• Compliance with local health regulations and school policies related to student care.
• A clean background or police check and no question regarding suitability to work with children.
