JOB TITLE
: Physical Education Teacher DEPARTMENT

SUMMARY :
As a PE teacher or Physical Education Teacher is responsible to plan, teach and train physical education and sports to the students as well as arranging and organizing internal sport events and evaluating their performance. In addition, they will be expected to contribute to the routine and extra-curricular life of the school, as well as that of the department.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lessons should be well planned in advance accordance with departmental scheme of work
- Ensure assess, record and preparing report of students’ progress/attainment
- Enable all students receive good physical and moral experiences through PE and sport
- Great contribution to a full and extensive extracurricular activities/program
- Ensure to follow school’s policies at all times
- Be a role model for students and maintain high discipline accordance with school procedure
- Manage, coach, encourage students to be actively interested in PE and also arrange internal school competitions occasionally
- Willingness to invest extra time to ensure students achieve the best standard
- Willingness to help out with departmental responsibilities CRITERIA QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified to relevant degree or above EXPERIENCE:
- At least one year of working experience
- Experience of being part of a highly successful department/school and also require extensive sporting experience, alongside experience working with children
- Raising attainment level KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Up-to-date subject knowledge
- Understanding of what constitutes effective teaching for learning
- The capacity to form positive learning-centered relationships with young people from a diverse range of backgrounds
- Flexible approach and readiness to respond to individual pupil needs
