Job Description:
- Maximise the academic progress of your students
- Teach the subject well
- Take the responsibility of your lesson delivery
- Create a positive learning environment
- Mark students’ work and return in a timely manner
- Have classroom management
- Develop a student-teacher relationship with students in classroom
- Keep track of the development of your students
- Discuss about the students with the other teachers every three weeks
- Provide correct feedback to parents about their kid upon request
- Develop schemes of work
- Prepare a lesson plan for each lesson
- Coordinate classroom activities for a specific area of the subject syllabus when relevant
- Organise documents, particularly teaching and learning materials
- Learn well and transform yourself into a learning individual
- Share knowledge and take part in discussions
- Contribute to the development of the school
- Cooperate with initiatives of the school director
- Perform any other relevant tasks in the time of need upon request
- Have profound respect for your honorable profession
Curriculum: International (UK curriculum)
Class to teach: Primary 1 - Primary 3; or, Primary 4 - Primary 6; or, Secondary 1 - Secondary 3; or, IGCSE Studies
Subject to teach: English; or, Mathematics; or, Science (Combined); Language (English - Starters, Movers, Flyers); Language (Myanmar)
Classroom verbal language: Burmese
Classroom written language: English
Working hours: Flexible throughout the day except assigned classes and starting at 7 AM
Number of working hours a day: 8 hours
Working days: Monday - Saturday
Salary: Competitive plus performance bonus up to fifteen-month salary
