Job Description

Social Media

  • Assists in planning content calendar, online advertising, and community management.
  • Strong coordination in developing online strategies.
  • Consistent coordination with revenue generating departments for offers and monthly promotions.
  • Ensures that all social media are updated daily this includes but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Keeps an up-to-date of the social media industry and that makes sure that both hotels are present on all possible and new social media channels.Include snapshots of all key hotel events on social media
Public Relations
  • Assists the Director of Marketing in the preparation, conceptualization and implementation of publicity programs
  • Assists in doing public relations with local media to ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
  • Assist to improve online reputation management.
  • Assist to develop press materials, proof read collaterals, translate selected collaterals from English to Myanmar
  • Assist to get quotations for short- and long-term plans and budgets
  • Keep informed of developments
  • To report for duty punctually wearing the proper office attire/uniform and name badge at all times
  • To provide courteous and professional service at all times
  • To attend continuous training and development programs of the hotel
  • To maintain good working relationship with colleagues and other departments
  • To ensure that the correct standards, policies and procedures are maintained as stated in the Department’s Operations Manual
  • To obtain complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s code of conduct
  • To obtain complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s policy related to fire, hygiene, health and safety
  • To safeguard confidentiality of information processed by the departmentMonitors newspapers and magazines daily
Collaterals Development
  • Initiates collating of information from revenue generating departments if there is a need for collaterals, ie food and beverage
  • Receives and documents Job Order and Promotion Brief forms
  • Works closely with Senior and Junior Graphic Artists on art direction, other revisions and proof reading on specific collaterals
  • Ensures that collaterals are implemented and finalized on time depending on the receipt of job order and promotion brief forms

General Duties

To perform tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Administrative

  • To ensure that all Marketing’ weekly and monthly reports and correspondences are accurate and submitted timely.
  • To ensure that work schedules are properly established
  • To ensure that files are maintained and updated, merged and purged as necessary on a regular basis
  • Fully responsible for filing Marketing correspondences, documents and contracts
  • Keeps detailed files and records on all matters relative to property's marketing materials (photo usage rights, vendor contracts, etc.).
  • Fully responsible for marketing collateral and inventory management. Ensure that collaterals are up-to-date
  • Assists in preparation of corporate giveaways; meets with suppliers when necessary
  • Answers telephone calls and handles inquiries professionally
