Head of Marketing
Overview
Organisational:
-
Avidly communicate with product, sales, customer service & other department heads to ensure alignment of brand strategy, key initiatives, and product roadmap

Ensure ongoing training and development of direct reports
Reporting:
-
Review channel KPIs with marketing specialists weekly in Google Analytics
-
Produce marketing monthly reports per brand of KPI achievement and action initiatives for any non-performing channel
Functional:
-
Translate business targets into tactical marketing strategies, actions and results
-
Ensure the quality of marketing activities, their execution, and launches.

Own audience acquisition, insights, and retention.
-
Recommend allocation of budgets to marketing channels and ensure agreed on budgets are spent week on week correctly

Maintain persona documentation, communicate insights and recommended action items to wider team
-
Establish and own branding across the organization in close collaboration with stakeholders
-
Ensure adherence visual guidelines across all channels
-
Advise on strategy, coordinate marketing execution and report KPIs for marketing related channels for clients

The details requirements includes:
-
5+ years of progressive digital marketing experience required.
-
Expertise in performance marketing and at least one additional marketing channel (social, content, brand development, etc).

Track record of delivering multifaceted web, social and mobile digitally driven campaigns from strategy through execution.

Demonstrate online and direct marketing success managing substantial paid budget to specific goals and timelines using tools.

Demonstrate strong project management skills including: conceptualization; analysis; driving alignment; planning resources; managing milestones and objectives and be responsible for overall project, content or campaign success.

Strong working knowledge of and experience with various social media marketing technologies, platforms and practices to deliver an exceptional online consumer experience.

Strong track record of leveraging data driven research/analysis to drive strategic direction and optimize marketing programs.

Must have strong consumer understanding skills -- ability to translate customer insights into successful digital marketing programs and a high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to consumers.

Relevant experience in working for (or with) a fast-growth start-up from conception through commercial launch.

BA / BS required. (Marketing major a plus.) Excellent communicator and writer.
-
Interest in recruiting or any classified websites is a plus.
