Oversee the business accounts, ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with the accounting standard and regulatory requirements.
Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs and program budgets and actual expenditures.
Analyses financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner, clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership abreast of financial status.
Develop finance organizational strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
Developing the team by implementing a rigorous control framework in particulat driving improvements to systems, processes and procedures..
Present recommendations to the Managing Director with new or revised policies, procedures or programs and IFRS system when needed.
Ability to access and accurateely input information using selected software (MYOB).
Must have considerable knowledge with basic accounting principles (i.e. journal entries, debits, credits, etc.) and accounting functions. Job cost and construction experience will be key for this positon.
Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision.
Ability to accurately work under pressure in meeting deadlines.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Must be proficient with Excel, Worked and Power Point applications.
Fluency in English will be an advantage to liaise with customer.
