Description and Requirement
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Director to join our dynamic team in the Advertising, Media & Communications industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven experience in the industry, with a strong understanding of advertising strategies, media planning, and client management.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for all client communications.
- Create and execute advertising campaigns across various media platforms, ensuring client objectives are met.
- Lead a team of account managers and coordinators, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports to clients, recommending optimizations as needed.
- Conduct 10 physical/online meetings per calendar month.
- Deliver 3 pitch presentations per month.
- Strategize and develop lead generation campaigns to boost awareness and generate leads.
- Mentor and lead junior team members to improve their day-to-day performance.
- Ensure the quality and timely delivery of creative work, including media, events, and influencer campaigns.
- Strengthen client relationships to ensure continuous workflow and revenue from existing accounts, including cross-selling and upselling as necessary.
- Generate a specified revenue target per month.Understand industry trends and identify opportunities to approach potential clients. Develop better plans based on client insights gathered from sales calls.
- Provide detailed reporting, including meeting minutes, updates, recaps, and next steps, for all business development meetings to management and the team.
- Communicate effectively to ensure clarity and minimize miscommunications among team members and stakeholders on all projects and pitches.
- Manage project timelines to ensure smooth delivery of work, presentations, and pitches.
- Spearhead business development efforts, including winning pitches, by collaborating with account team members, creatives, and media teams as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Advertising, Media & Communications industry.
- Proven track record of managing client accounts and delivering successful advertising campaigns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager.
