Position Information

Job Title    : Tax Executive
Report to    : Tax and General Ledger Manager

Position Purpose / Context:

To manage development of tax planning for corporate in order to ensure maximized corporate benefits in terms of tax payment and compliance with related tax rules and regulations.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

• Manage process of setting detailed plan, work process and procedure regarding tax planning in order to develop periodic and systematic process and ensure tax compliance by all functions.
• Manage standards and policies development regarding tax in order to ensure alignment throughout the company and timely effectiveness of tax planning
• Manage process of designing tax structure and performing tax management planning for the company in order to ensure compliance with rules, laws, and regulations as well as fully utilize tax privilege and benefit
• Act as advisor and provide guidance on the matter of tax in order to find optimal solutions and ensure that all of problematic issues are solved
• Manage process of monitoring relevant rules and regulations regarding taxes in order to ensure that tax standards and policies are aligned with the updated rules and regulations
• Manage process of liaison with the relevant functions for efficient execution of tax audits/appeals and to minimize exposure resulting from audits or relevant tax assessments
• Perform taxation risk assessment and support risk management activities to ensure all potential risks are continuously monitored
• Collaborate and support on corporate agenda upon request

Related Position Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Commence, Finance or related
• CPA or equivalent certification with minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience
• CISA certification is preferred but is not mandatory
• Experience with Audit Firm and standard knowledge of Tax Planning
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office
• Strong analytical and collaborative skills
• Able to work well independently and as a team
• Proactive and goal-oriented team player with a positive attitude
• Excellent communications skills with proficiency in English language
