City Mart Holding Co., Ltd. (CMHL) is Myanmar’s largest retail chain,currently employing more than 6,800 employees. Ocean Supercenter was the first Hypermarket to open in Myanmar in 2006. It is known as the one-stop place for shopping food, clothing, beauty products, household products and much more. There are currently 7 Ocean Supercenters located in Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon.

Currently offering a wider range of international and premium products in Yangon. One of the best-stocked outlets in Yangon offering special treats like locally produced coffee and chocolate products. Opened in 2011 as a premium supermarket brand in the Golden Valley shopping center. Second outlet opened in 2013 at the FMI Center Parkson.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE HEAD(GROUP)

Job Area

Delivering more effective and efficient system that aligned with the business best practices

Job Purpose

•    Delivering quality software development and maintenance services in accordance with the Group's Software Development Life Cycle standard
•    Leads software development work for high complexity projects such as major enhancements to a specific module of a core system, or the development of new system, and is responsible for the technical design and quality of output


Job Descriptions

•    Provide software development, maintenance and 3rd level production support of Core applications to support Business Units
•    Plans, designs, develops, tests and documents software programs for high complexity development projects, applying the Group's standards and methodologies
o    Prepare the required Technical Design Specifications (TDS) and software design for the application
o    Ensures that the delivered software satisfies the functional and non-functional requirements as stipulated in the Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) and TDS
o    Responsible for the team's progress on the development of the software
o    Prepare the required TDS and software design for the application
o    Prepare, schedule and perform appropriate tests for the software
o    Ensure that the applications delivered perform efficiently and in-line with business needs
o    Support Business Systems Analysts during UAT period
o    Liaise and coordinate with Business Systems Analysts / Business Process Designers /Project Managers for software change requests, issues or problems
o    Schedule, prepare and deliver software changes to both production and development systems
•    Participate in regular and ad-hoc client management meetings. Keeps his/her supervisor and management appraised of the progress of assigned projects and status of any problems on a regular basis.
•    Deliver quality software ensuring minimal defects and the conduct of agreed Quality Assurance processes to continuously improve deliverables Participate in regular and ad-hoc client management meetings. •    Conduct application performance tuning to ensure performance criteria for the system are met
•    Ensure that software documentation (as per SDLC) is kept up-to-date and released as planned
•    Assigned as the Software Configuration Manager role for projects to maintain effective control over the software versioning
•    Provide feedback and conduct performance appraisal for team members.
•    Coach System Analysts, Analyst programmers and Programmers regarding standards and methodologies for development. May actively contribute to the continuous development of knowledge sharing in the assigned application and/or other applications for the team.

Job Requirements

•    At least 2 years experiences as a senior system analyst
•    Has retail or similar industry experience
•    Has experience with SAP and Microsoft products
•    Knowledge of SQL, Oracle and HANA; familiarity with PHP, Java or C++ is an asset
•    Analytical mind and business acumen
•    Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
•    Problem-solving aptitude
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills
•    Graduate of Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred
