SYSTEM ADMIN(GROUP)

Job Area

Delivering effective and efficient system, database and office automation management to meet the expected service level

Job Purpose

Providing a comprehensive delivery and support service for the areas of Computer Operations, Office Automation, System and Database Administration which meets and exceeds Service Level Agreements (SLAs) of the internal customers

Job Descriptions

•    Defines and recommends policies for approval by the group CTO
•    Prepares budgets, negotiates and prepares contracts and SLA's for supply of hardware, software, services and/or maintenance
•    Maintains high availability of services by meeting, exceeding and improving overall SLAs including patch management, computer operations and database management
•    Prepares and leads roll-out plans for upgrades to maintain compliance to the Group EA
•    Establishes a continuous improvement program to improve the quality of support
•    Accountable for the preparation and continuous update of service and system specification documentation and procedures
•    Management oversight for a portfolio of projects

Job Requirements

•    At least 2 years experiences as a system or database administrator
•    Knowledge of SQL, Oracle and HANA, MS Products including MS365
•    Problem-solving aptitude
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills
•    Graduate of Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
