JOB DESCRIPTION

  • For each customer experience, meets or exceeds the criteria indicated on the Customer Expectations for Sales.
  • Greets all customers promptly; provides timely professional service.
  • Completes Customer Records promptly and accurately.
  • Completes an Income and Sales Goal Worksheet promptly and accurately each month.
  • Follows up with 100% of customers within three days of vehicle delivery.
  • Meets or exceeds monthly Income and Sales Goals.
  • Provides excellent customer service by listening to customer inquiries and requests, asking questions to identify needs, resolving customer concerns, and sells additional services when appropriate.
  • Builds customer loyalty and promotes the dealership brand image by following the 10-Step Showroom Process.
  • Is accurate and timely in completing paperwork and assigned tasks.
  • Sells accessories and Finance–Insurance products.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls promptly, courteously, and makes every effort to satisfy the caller’s inquiry.
  • Delivers vehicles to customers in a positive and memorable way.
  • Effectively prospects by phone, mail, e-mail, and face-to-face.
  • Identifies repeat customers and treats them accordingly.
  • Contacts previous customers to remind them of lease-end dates.
  • Notifies prospects of upcoming special programs and promotions.
  • Calculates and tracks progress of sales and prospect goals and sales deals.

JOB SPECIFICATION

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Education, training, and/or certifications should clearly demonstrate the possession of the skills stated above.
  • High school or equivalent
  • Some college or sales training preferred
  • Driver’s license
  • Will become Ford certified Sales Consultant within 12 months
  • Bondable and insurable

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL:

  • Communicates effectively via phone, mail, e-mail, and face-to-face.

  • One year in Retail Sales with notable sales record for volume and profit; 1 or more years in Automotive background preferred

  • Two years in a customer service position preferred with a notable track record of customer satisfaction
