Job Descriptions

  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
  • Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
  • Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
  • Prepare cost analyses
  • Purchase oversea and local goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Assist internal and external customers by interpreting laws, policy, codes, and regulations pertaining to purchasing; answer inquiries both orally and in writing concerning purchasing operations.
  • Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
  • Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition

Responsibilities

  • Purchase goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.

Requirements

  • Any Graduate or relevant field
  • Work experience at least (2) Years as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Hands-on experience with purchasing software
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Advanced knowledge of Internet & Email
  • Knowledge of market research
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Good in English Language
