This is an exciting opportunity to create a close connection between people and banking services. The candidate in this role is expected to have a passion for technology development and innovation to support an existing mobile application as well as develop and deliver cutting edged mobile applications and digital experience to better serve our clients and customers. As a member of our mobile app development team you will dive head-first into creating innovative fintech solutions that foster financial inclusion in Myanmar.

Responsibilities

  • Understand behaviors and dynamics of individual customers and business clients to come up with fintech solutions
  • Proactively seek best practices for the fintech development and innovation to apply in the continuous improvement of our mobile
    applications
  • Work in a team to design, develop and test software components along with collaborating with product and business teams to
    implement enhancements or new applications according to design, requirements, and standards
  • Write unit test, conform to code standards, have the developed designs and written code reviewed
  • Participates in the analysis and composition of requirements, design and implementation of system, design and implementation of
    test plan, and documentation of final product
  • Engage in innovative problem solving activities, requiring conceptual thinking and creating ‘out of the box’ solutions with prototypes
    and pilots
  • Creating compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
  • Execute regular app upgrade process to Apple Store and Google Play Store and provide software support as needed
  • Drive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results within a schedule
  • Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools
  • Work with product teams on new product ideas,designs, prototypes and estimates as well as to understand end-user
    requirements and use cases, then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution
  • Involve in application test case preparation and test execution
  • Vendor management: liaise with vendors in supporting the systems, solving technical issues and managing projects
  • Act as first point of contact for vendor management related issues

Skills Required:

  • Strong skills in programming languages
  • Ability to think like working in a startup environment in coming up new ideas yet systematic and structured enough to build a team
  • Able to work well individually as well as in a highly collaborative team
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues under time pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualification Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required
  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience in software and UI development
  • Good command of English and Myanmar Languages
  • Knowledge of banking and financial products, payment technologies (QR, Cards, Block chain etc), core banking systems, mobile banking development platform
  • Experience in design, development, and maintenance of Android and iOS apps
  • Strong CS fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving, and complexity analysis
  • Successful track record as an application developer in a comparable environment, and experience in design and development
    of UI components as part of enterprise grade software
  • Customer-focused mindset, demonstrated skill and passion for operational excellence, and strong focus on troubleshooting and
    issue resolution
