Responsibilities

  • Support Legal Counsel (Business) in performing day to day activities
  • Organize and maintain all legal files both electronic and physical files
  • Performing legal research
  • Gathering necessary documentation from various department for successful implementation of business initiative
  • Taking notes during meetings and preparing meeting minutes
  • Organizing daily meeting agenda
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Preparing presentations
  • Keeping record of correspondences (email, letter, notices)
  • Processing important data by compiling, verifying and categorizing as necessary
  • Proofreading contracts
  • Translating documents from time to time

Skills Required:

  • Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to details
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Translation skill
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS words, MS excel & MS Power Points)
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Typing skill in Myanmar language
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to consider alternative and innovative solutions

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Law, Law, or related field is preferred although not compulsory
  • Good command of English and Myanmar Languages
  • Good command of Microsoft office applications
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience working in an international company
  • Prior experience in a law firm or compliance role will be given priority
