 HR Manager

The HR Manager oversees the primary employees’ functions of HBHL.  This includes employee engagement, employee relations, recruiting, performance management, talent management & development.  HR Manager will build and maintain a culture that reflects the HBHL brand, engages employees, and supports an atmosphere of continuous development and change.


Primary Objectives of the HR Manager:

·         Health and safety of the workforce.

·         Development of a superior workforce.

·         Development of the Human Resources department.

·         Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.

·         Personal ongoing development.


 Task & Responsibilities

·         Be a trusted resource within the office by building relationships with managers & employees.

·         Handle employee relations and labor relations issues and meet with management regularly to provide guidance and training in areas as needed by HBHL.

·         Work closely with managers/executive team to analyze and report on job satisfaction & engagement.

·         Oversee external & internal recruiting for region.

·         Work with hiring managers when necessary to ensure all teams are appropriately staffed.

·         Maintain a keen understanding of all departments/teams to know our people, what we do and identify areas for growth.

·         Stay up-to-date on HBHL business strategy and market & industry knowledge.

·         Collaborate with Talent Team to develop employee review standards & leadership/management training, and to determine potential talent moves within the organization.

·         Be engaged with HBHL employees – attend events, send congratulations, greet everyone, be a resource.

·         Handle all voluntary & involuntary terminations, conduct Exit Interviews when applicable.

·         Analyze training needs to design employee development, language training and health and safety programs.

·         Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.

·         Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices.

·         Monitor and enforce employment compliance to regulatory concerns regarding employees

·         Arrange employee onboarding, development, assessment, and training

·         Create policy development and documentation

·         Administer compensation and benefits for all HBHL employees

·         Promote employee safety, welfare, wellness and health

·         Provide employee services and counseling.

·         Originates and leads Employee Services practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

·         Coordinates the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs through HR Department

·         Fulfill responsibilities under OHSAS 18001, understand and fully support OHSAS 18001 system.

Administrative Manager Job Duties:

·         Provides supplies by identifying needs for reception, switchboard, mailroom, and kitchen.

·         Establish policies, procedures, and maintain work and meeting schedules.

·         Purchases printed materials and forms by obtaining requirements; negotiating price, quality, and delivery; approving invoices.

·         Completes special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results.

·         Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems.

·         Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

·         Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; benchmarking professional standards; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.

·         Serve as the liaison between administrative personnel and senior management, communicating needs and concerns so they can be handled expeditiously

·         Achieve specific financial objectives by communicating with HBHL employees and making adjustments to workflow as necessary

·         Prepare inventory documentation: this involves accurately recording type, quantity, quality, and other features of inventory for a clear understanding of the state of the stocks

·         Ensure that inventories are constantly up to standards

·         Create purchase plan; ensuring the availability of stocks when needed

·         Ensure available stocks match customer needs

·         Document stocks delivery and supervise their movement into operational processing or position

·         Respond to complaints and queries concerning inventories and products

·         Prepare and submit inventory control reports to BOD
