Duties & Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of the GP farm
  • Reports financial and technical reports (financial and technical indicators to be determined) on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Creates plan and budgets and is responsible for its implementation.
  • Applies continuous improvement to the farm, logistics, labour and organizational process 
  • Report on finance, logistics, labour and other organizational processes to the Managing Director.

Best practices of the GP Farms

  • Implement strict protocols and standards following Dutch standards in order to achieve an optimal farm organization and the best technical results.
  • Demonstrates good bio-security standards.
  • Initiates and maintains a network consisting of certifying/ verification companies (Global Gap)

Deliver and transfers farm management knowledge and skills to the De Heus organization

  • Increase and updates the level of knowledge of the GP Farm staff
  • Maintain close contact with colleagues from De Heus Netherland and other relevant colleague within De Heus Group who have knowledge/ experience/ a network in this field.

 Skills and Experiences

  • Coaching to the trainer staff for the implementation of Dutch pig husbandry standards and protocols at the GP farm.
  • Leadership skills within the organization.
  • Accuracy when working with the other department and reporting line.
  • Excellent of computer skill and
  • English skills (Business advance level)


  • Master degree in Animal Science or Veterinary Science
