This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the largest banks in Myanmar. The candidate in this role is expected to build the bank’s public brand image and media presence positively, safeguard corporate reputation and managing relations with the media, government, opinion leaders and other stakeholders as well as maintain the bank’s readiness for effective and efficient communications in a crisis situation.

Responsibilities

  • Support in executing internal and external communications plan that reinforces the business strategy, cultural values and provides
    company updates
  • Develop an integrated communications strategy for the company incorporating PR, Marketing and Social Media for internal and
    external communication plans related to all functions of the company
  • Develop relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline
  • Organize corporate events and activities related to the execution of the employee engagement and external communications
    strategies
  • Develops ideas and opportunities for feature articles, interviews, presentations and other public relations activities that
    promote awareness of CB Bank its products or services
  • Develop and review communication materials including internal memos, social media content, press releases, video scripts,
    corporate messaging, speaking proposals and presentations
  • Advise, support and liaise with senior management on both internal and external communication campaigns in the region
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results for major media announcements, campaign, editorial placement and awards winning
  • Accurate and timely review and distribution of information, including routine announcements, urgent and crisis communications

Skills Required:

  • Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Optimistic personality and have a growth mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to write content and research new content ideas, specifically for the web, social media, video, etc.
  • Expert copywriting and creative writing skills and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of media relations, new industry, digital marketing and social media
  • Ability to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of projects/programs
  • Effective analytical, written and communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations to all levels
    within an organization

Qualification Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, PR, Journalism, English or related field is required
  • Fresh graduate or 1-2 years experiences in relevant corporate communication, PR, journalism or business is preferred
  • Good command of English and Myanmar Languages
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
