Medical Action Myanmar (MAM) is a medical aid organization, whose mission it is to improve access to quality health care in Myanmar.

MAM aims to provide large-scale access to prevention, diagnosis & treatment of malaria, Basic Health Care (BHC) and tuberculosis.

We support a large number of Village Health Workers (VHW) who are volunteers trained in rapid diagnostic testing and supplied with diagnostics and treatments.

A basic health care package is provided to deal with the most common BHC diseases, including a referral system for complicated cases.

Furthermore a TB Active Case Finding component is offered including screening and referrals of suspected TB cases and treatment follow-up of confirmed TB cases.

Child Protection Manager
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Child Protection Manager for our HIV/AIDS / TB/ STD /malnutrition/ ANC/ family planning and primary health care projects of Medical Action Myanmar (MAM) in (Shwe Pyi Thar) Yangon.

Description of the vacant position;

Key Objectives and Responsibilities in general;
Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure that the Child Protection staffs are working according to the child protection policy.
• Collect regular data in the field including baseline data, support data entry and assist in
designing project activities in line with agreed work plan.
• Ensure that the Case Management system is functioning and following the SOP
• Ensure that the Child Protection staffs fill in the case management forms, referrals and other
tools correctly
• Ensure to do proper follow ups, have face-to-face interactions with the beneficiary and other
parties involved.
• Liaise and collaborate with other Case Management actors for township level referral
networking system.
• Collaborate with Department of Social Welfare and other key stakeholders of assigned our
targeted township for case management activities.
• Conduct regular meetings and reviews with project officer to accommodate lessons learned
and good practices.
• In collaboration with Deputy Project Coordinator and Project Officers, raise awareness in the
targeted communities regarding child protection and children rights.
• Develop and adjust monthly work plan and budget plan to achieve the project targets with the
good quality of program. 
• Responsible for monthly quantitative & qualitative reports.
• Travel regularly to the field for monitoring and mentoring purposes.
• Responsible for donor visits together with line manager.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
• Timely reporting to Project coordinator

To be successful in this role you must have:
Education : Any Graduated
Experience : At least three years of professional experience in related field.
Computer skills : Can use email & internet, and Microsoft.
Language : Fluent in Myanmar and English
Specifications : Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization developing effective working relationships in order to deliver outstanding results for children.
