Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct Bell Desk activities and Bell & Concierge staffs
  • Supervise and direct Transportation Team activities and Transportation Staffs including drivers
  • Responsible for checking the rental cars and ensuring they have delivered the services to guest as per SHY standards
  • Responsible for sorting and distributing guests and administrative mail and returning mail to the sender for forwarding mail
  • Update & Provide information pertaining to all hotel services, local places of interests, restaurants, doctors, sightseeing tours and any other information likely to be of the interest to guests
  • Be prepared to recommend first and foremost the hotel's own Food and Beverage outlets before any other, making himself totally familiar with the operating times and each outlets benefits
  • Ensure the lobby is always kept in an orderly fashion and that ashtrays are kept clean at portico area
  • Coordinates the paging of guests in the lobby, F&B outlets, and where considered appropriate by the management
  • Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process
  • Handle problems associated with the guests and liaise with the departments heads or executive management in the absence of the Guest Service Manager.


Requirements

  • Good communication skills and strong customer service skills are required
  • A strong knowledge of the community, area and region is necessary
  • Guest services or concierge experience is necessary
  • Problem solving, organization and time management, and supervision skills
  • Minimum 3 years experience as concierge
  • Knowledge of Opera System is required
  • Must be a bachelor degree
