Assistant Communication Manager

Job Description

-    Create, deliver, edit, and optimize PR materials.
-    Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
-    Supervise social media outreach
-    Deliver content via LinkedIn, Facebook, email, or direct mail.
-    Coordinate and deliver email campaigns.
-    Mass-mail materials
-    Create brochures and selling sheets
-    Coordinate flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy
-    Work with manager and business units to determine budget and manage expenses to that budget
-    Promote products and services through public relations initiatives
-    Develop marketing communications campaigns
-    Develop and implement crisis communications advice and media strategy, as needed
-    Create thought leadership materials
-    Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking            proposals
-    Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
-    Research media coverage and industry trends.
-    Develop fresh story ideas
-    Conduct extensive media outreach
-    Improve communication efficiencies within company
-    Manage video content
-    Create and distribute customer surveys

-    To ensure that all Marketing Communications’ weekly and monthly reports and correspondences are accurate and submitted timely. Reports such as weekly revenue,              month-end, Department Heads’ meeting, and meeting with the General Manager.

-    To ensure that work schedules are properly established
-    To ensure that files are maintained and updated, merged and purged as necessary on a regular basis
-    To conduct regular meetings for the department or section as needed
-    Fully responsible for filing Marketing Communications’ correspondences, documents and contracts
-    Keeps detailed files and records on all matters relative to property's marketing materials (photo usage rights, vendor contracts, etc.).

Requirements

  • Proficient in both English & Myanmar /Speak and understand the third language (Preferably Japanese, Chinese)
  • Bachelor degree holder
  • At least 2 years experienced in communications, marketing or journalism
  • Able to work long hours and as part of a team
  • Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships
