She joined ASEAN Youth Organization in Nov, 2019 as president and Max Myanmar Construction Co., Ltd since 2017 after 9 years of serving as human resources and well-respected cooperate companies. In 2017, she received her Master of Business Administration Degree in University of Thai Chamber of Commerce, and was awarded her Master of Business Administration specialized in HRM at European Global School, Paris in 2019. Presently, he is taking the responsibilities as a National Representative in Myanmar Youth Affairs Committee in Union Level, delegating Yangon Region. He also involved as National Working Committee member delegating Yangon Region in Myanmar Youth Policy drafting process since 2016. Besides Myanmar Youth Policy process, he also contributed in several activities. He conducted as a Coordinator of Humanitarian Coordination Youth Team (HCYT), provided administrative support and coordination task to UEHRD where conducted youth volunteers for humanitarian assistance activities in Rakhine State during 2017 and 2018 besides the duties of Program Director of Humanitarian Coordination Initiative (hCi). He also founded Mee Eain Nge Multi-Development Organization and proactively involved in the rehabilitation activities of Irrawaddy flooded disaster region, in 2015.     A former independent candidate for Constituency #3 in the 2019 YCDC Elections, the first local elections with universal suffrage. At 25 years of age, Aung Khant is also the youngest candidate and came second with twenty-thousand (20,556) votes. He is also the first candidate to publicly release all his campaign expenditures, with an average of 122 kyats per vote. Aung Khant is currently a member of the NLD Central Research Committee. He is also Executive Director for Urbanize, a local think-tank on urban and regional planning. He has worked on urban-related issues in Yangon, Mandalay, Lashio, Muse, Kalaw, Dawei, Myitkyina, on various topics of transportation, water access, electricity, housing, rail and train transportation, road access, etc. etc. Aung Khant holds a Masters in Urban Planning and Public Policy, and Bachelors in Law and Political Science from Sciences Po Paris.

He was born in July 1980 to U Chit Khin and Daw Aye Aye Sein in Yangon, Myanmar. After high school, he studied at University of Delaware, USA for a year. He then returned to Yangon to manage his parents’ music production business. He holds a Professional Diploma and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK). Aung obtained his MBA from University of Nottingham at the University’s Malaysia Campus in 2009. He has a diploma in computer studies and a diploma in French as well. He also attended numerous business training programs including two executive master classes with the marketing guru – Professor Philip Kotler. He also attended Bonn International Summer School on Sustainability, Germany in 2013 sponsored by GIZ and supported by Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA). In 2006, he established a weekly publication for children – Putet Comics and now he is launching a comic subscription application for mobile phones, the first of its kind in Myanmar.
