Job Purpose

Network Officer will use extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to maintain and enhance all network infrastructures at DAWN. This includes overseeing all servers, firewalls, switches, and other equipment. Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, supporting and monitoring computer systems. Regular travel throughout Myanmar is required. Good at Myanmar and English is essential.


 Maintain the network infrastructure at DAWN including all servers, firewalls, switches, and other equipment
 Upgrade network components as newer technology becomes available
 Implement new technology that benefits the employees of DAWN
 Provide user support for all printer and workstation issues
 Provide user support for Head Office and branches network issues.
 Ensure that backups of all server data are being performed daily
 Daily monitor and analyst for all server and network performance
 Rebuild network components when necessary because of network crash or failure
 Update Cisco Router and Switch configurations as needed
 Oversee Antivirus protection for all computers and servers in the office
 Administer and maintain a disaster recovery location which includes essential file replication and remote access in the event of an emergency
 Manage new/existing user accounts for the internal domain network
 Oversee the patch management process for all servers and workstations
 Manage all IT related licensing contracts with our software vendor
 Establish and maintain protocol for ensuring network security.
 Determine and administer user access, privileges and security.
 Meetings and communicating incident reports, and collecting and providing feedback on security reports.


 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science. Equivalent work experience in the Information Technology field will be considered;
 Minimum 3 years’ experience working in information technology field as networking
 Windows 7/10 troubleshooting experience
 Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 experience, Network Services (AD,DNS, DHCP, etc.)
 Cisco ASA firewall administration
 Experience with email administration (On-Premise or Cloud)
 Experience with Active directory administration
 Experience with Antivirus Server/Endpoint Protection products
 Data Management Ability to work with a team Good interpersonal and flexibility
 Able to work independently, demonstrate initiative, take on new challenge and liaise well with the team and end-users
 Excellent Presentation Skill
 Good in English and Myanmar Language Skills (reading, writing, understanding)
